ABOUT MEHi, I’m Anne Logan and I deeply love the outdoors and helping children and adults to develop their curiosities about the natural world.
I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Education, Elementary Focus and minor in Physical Education. Over the last 20 years, I have taught in the classroom and in the field to students in elementary, junior high and high school throughout Alberta, Quebec and China. |
While living in China, I studied Tai Chi which is a form of qigong. Upon returning to Canada I continued my studies and built a deep practice and love of qigong. I have studied with Dr Steven Aung, Dr Roger Jahnke, Jessica Kolbe, Mario Argento, and Marissa Cranfill. I currently teach qigong at the Lahari Studio, Vasa, Visual Arts Studio, Zoom classes and outdoors when the weather permits.
While teaching English as a second language to new immigrants at the Edmonton Mennonite Center for Newcomers, my students and colleagues commended me on my creativity, enthusiasm, and my caring ways with my students. In addition, I have worked for two not for profit societies, Inside Education and The Edmonton Science Outreach Network. As a program director, I designed and delivered programs and classroom resources both in the class and outdoors on a variety of science and environmental topics. |
